Session on Challenges of New Age Parenting

To empower and support the parent community in navigating the joys and challenges of parenthood, DLF QEC Innovative School, Ridge Valley organised an engaging session for parents on, ‘Challenges of New Age Parenting’, by India’s top psychiatrist, Dr. Jitender Nagpal. 

Moderated by our chairperson, Dr. Ameeta Mulla Wattal, the session explored the evolving complexities of parenting in the digital era. Key takeaways from the session included practical advice for managing screen time and digital distractions, encouraging open communication, and nurturing healthy parent-child relationships. Dr. Nagpal also provided strategies for promoting mental health and well-being in children, highlighting the role of positive reinforcement and setting clear boundaries.
