Cancer Awareness Walkathon

DLF QEC Innovative School Ridge Valley School, in collaboration with the Tanisa Foundation, organized a Walkathon on Saturday, 16th March 2024, to raise awareness about cancer. A large contingent of  students, staff and  parents of Ridge Valley School , volunteers of Tanisa Foundation as well as local residents walked to City Center, MG Road. carrying banners and posters, spreading awareness and igniting hope for a healthier tomorrow.

Ms. Usha Solanki,a dedicated social worker from the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) inaugurated this mega event, which started from school and ended at City Centre, MG Road. Students from Grade XII performed a nukkad naatak titled “Cancer Ek Abhishaap” at the MG Road metro station as well as the Galleria market , DLF Phase IV .

Ms. Meenakshi Dhingra, founder of Tanisa Foundation, addressed the public, highlighting common causes and prevention methods to prevent this dreaded disease.

The event successfully raised awareness about this critical health issue and showcased the power of community-driven initiatives.
