Ms Sunita Kumar

A postgraduate in English from Delhi University and an alumnus of Mater Dei Convent School, Delhi, she is an accomplished English teacher with a meritorious record of service as Head of Department (English) at Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan. In her role as Head of Department at Springdales School, she has spearheaded and coordinated all activities of the English Department for all Springdales School branches in New Delhi. An excellent orator, she has written scripts and compered several Inter and Intra School functions and NPSC Programmes. She has also coached and trained students for Inter and Intra School Debate, Declamation, Poetry Recitation Competitions and guided students to win laurels for the School in the Royal Commonwealth Essay Writing Competition. A Proud recipient of the Teachers' Excellence Award by Lions Club in 2012, she has also played an integral role in building the curriculum for Inclusive education with the aim to improve the command of the English language for students from the EWS category.
