World Health Day - Presented by-XII
Raising awareness about physical health and mental wellbeing, and various measures to combat global health challenges, Ridge Valley School, celebrated World Health Day, commemorating the third sustainable development goal on 7th April, 2022.The students of Grade XII presented a thought provoking assembly to mark the World Health Day, with great enthusiasm and spirit.
The celebration fulfilled its objective of developing a deep understanding of the essential link between individual and collective health for a sustainable life. The speakers, Mrs. Moly Suryawanshi from the Well Being Department and Mrs. Rachna Joneja a senior school facilitator from Home Science Department briefed the students with the value of good health. They guided the students about quality living and importance of health. The talk was extremely enriching and fulfilled the queries of the children.
The school principal, Mrs. Nidhi Tewari, addressed the students and told them the importance of sound physical, emotional and mental health, the intake of right nutrition and discussed other medical issues.
The vote of thanks was proposed by the student of Grade XII. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem and the belief that one must take care of the precious gift of good health given to us by God.
