Workshop on Understanding Inclusion

OBJECTIVES OF THE WORKSHOP: The Session was conducted with the aim to sensitize the educators with some class room based strategies that they may use to bring about inclusion in their lesson plans.
DESCRIPTION: Strategies that help in building a holistic inclusive class rooms were discussed. Teachers were given real life case scenarios on how inclusion have helped in the past in better learning and understanding. Importance of evidence based practice was also discussed and teachers were shown samples of how to go about maintaining daily anecdotes.
AREAS THAT CAN BE IMPROVED: Attendance was low. Its important that all the educators are on the same page .
