The visual arts are art forms such as ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, design, crafts, photography, video, filmmaking, and architecture.

Ridge Valley School embrace an integrated approach regarding art education. Use of visual arts for learning is very important; and students use it for developing higher order thinking skills. Ridge Valley School is equipped with a well-developed art room with the best teaching tools. The art room also has an interactive whiteboard which is used by the students to add on to their imaginations. The teachers use various drawing tools to create a wide range of learning opportunities, and engage students in various collaborative activities.

·         Pre-primary kids engage themselves in oil pastel shading, paper crafts, poster colour activities, basic pencil shading, etc. We also have an ‘Origami club’ in which the students learn paper folding and give shape to their imaginations.

·         Middle school students practice doodling, Graffiti integrated with calligraphy, miniature paintings and also Indian folk art to reflect their creativity.

·         Senior students are involved in poster making, canvas painting and even using waste materials to create interesting installations. We also have a ‘Mural art club’ in which the students paint the school walls, ceilings or other permanent surfaces. A distinguishing characteristic of mural painting is that the architectural elements of the given space are harmoniously incorporated into the picture.
