Soccer Festival At RVS

ATTENDED BY: Ms. Aditi Bishnoi, Ms. Pramugdha Phaugat   Hindustan Times organised their Annual Teacher’s meet on 18th March 2015 in Hyatt Regency. The theme this year was how to live a stress free life by including yoga and Ayurveda in one’s life. Mrs. Annapoorna Sehgal, head HT Pace, felicitated the eminent speakers of the day and urged the teachers to include the basics of yoga and Ayurveda in a student’s life. The workshop began with a 30 minute session of yoga by Mr. Harish Mohan, a yoga expert. He demonstrated rather simple techniques to relieve stress. This was followed by an orientation to Ayurveda by the founder of Jiva Ayurveda- Dr. Pratap Chauhan, whose mission is 'taking Ayurveda to every home’. His dream is to include the basics of Ayurveda in school curriculums to enable students to better their lives right from the beginning. The day ended with Mr. Steven Rudolph, the co-founder and Educational Director of Jiva Ayurveda Institute in Faridabad bringing to the fore, the need of the hour-saying yes to Ayurveda! It is a cause which is very close to his heart. Mr. Rudolf conducts life skills workshops and educational lectures for students, parents and educators and training sessions for academic counsellors.
