‘Take pride in how far you have come and have faith in how far you can go.’
14th March 2018 was a day of celebration at Ridge Valley School, Gurgaon as Grade 4 organized a Valedictory Ceremony for Grade 5 students who were bidding good bye to primary school and were standing on the threshold of middle school. The hosts welcomed their special guests by a band performance that churned out some peppy beats while being camouflaged within the audience, armed with indigenous instruments. It was a treat for the children as they could not make out where the sounds were coming from! After their calls of congratulations to Grade 5, they recited a poem wishing them good luck for the future endeavours. Thereafter, they invited Grade 5 students one by one and pinned badges on to them while a delightfully descriptive comment about them was being read out in the background. After receiving the badge, they proceeded to the stage where the School Principal, Ms. Archana Sagar and the Academic Co-ordinator, Ms. Kamalpreet Bhullar presented them with graduation caps and scrolls. It was a proud day for Grade 5 students as they reveled in their entry into middle school and recounted their experiences of the year gone by. The customary flying of caps was a kodak moment which will stay in their memories forever!
